Sorry for false alarm. I reinstalled ModemManager package, reenabled and restarted service and mobile connections are now possible by nm applet ;-)

My modem really does not work in F20. It was not only virtual machine problem when I tried it in October ...

Which Huawei USB dongle do you have?
I'm hesitating about upgrade from F19 to F20, but I'm using Huawei modem E1823 (ID 12d1:14ac) frequently. In F19 with 3.11.3-201.fc19.x86_64 kernel it's working...

Did you hibernate (suspend to disk) before?
I had similar problem on F17 when using suspend to disk and here is a bug about it in bugzilla:

Yes, on F15 (with 2.6.38.6) where I have more applications running and firefox is still eating 10 - 20% CPU there, I have absolutely different values:

I have symlink in /lib/modules. It was the first what I did. But dracut did not included that symlink so I experimented with --include dracut option and that was the problem :-)

Frozen as unusable or slow? With nvidia drivers I have veeeery slow Firefox in comparison with nouveau drivers, but gnome-shell is much more stable than with nouveau and don't need to restart it...

For kernel 2.6.38.4-20 akmod built succesfully today. Probably akmods don't like odd numbers at the end of kernel version in my case ;-)
