fc17 gnome3 shell fallback mode in VNC and xrdp

Hi

I have managed to get xrdp working after installing update from testing repo (see bugzilla 821569)

However I can only get gnome to run in fallback mode. I understood f17 supported software emulation for 3D graphics

If I run gnome-session-accelerated-helper it reports: no Composite extension.

This I assume is why I am in fallback mode. How do I get the software emulation working ?

System: Athelon 3200+ 64bit all updates applied
VNC session reports graphics as: Gallium 0.4 on llvmpipe (LLVM 0x300)

I have googled to death but most talk around this config for fc16 and lower that did not support 2D emulation

Any one got it going ?
