Gnome keyboard switcher applet - shortcuts (e.g. Alt+Shift)

Hello everybody,

I have problem with Gnome keyboard switcher applet - shortcuts (e.g. Alt+Shift) aren't working. However switching with mouse is ok.

Btw, some other shortcuts (Control+ Control(Rght)) work,
but I'm used to Alt+Shift(R).

What's the problem?

I've upgraded from RedHat 9 // Shrike

I have also tested a fresh install on another system.

The problem remains the same.
Applet does not react to shortcuts.

On RH 9 + Gnome 2.2 everything was OK.
