Fedora 7 doesn't recognize my wireless PCI card

I am having problems with Fedora 7 recognizing my Dynex DX-WGDTC card. I have tried to install madwifi, but I am afraid that I am at a loss. I copied the madwifi-0.9.3 file to my linux desktop, but I don't know how to build it. Can anyone help me with the steps, or point me to a better alternative?

I have the same problem, I am attempting to use ndiswrapper to see if this works...let me know if you make any progress.

Welcome to the forum.

The make of the card is less important than the actual chipset inside it.

If they are pci cards then run the command:

/sbin/lspci

in a terminal window and post back the parts that relate to "ethernet" and "network" and we'll see if we can work out how to progress
