Broadcom bcm4310 wireless chipset

results of /sbin/lspci is:
02:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4310 USB Controller (rev 01)

looking into Windows shows:
Broadcom\ 802.11/Driver/
-rwxrwxrwx 1 dennis dennis 16330 2008-06-22 14:14 BCM43XX64.CAT

-rwxrwxrwx 1 dennis dennis 1952 2008-06-22 14:14 uninstall.log

looking into /usr/share/doc/bcm43xx-fwcutter-006/README.Fedore suggests:
su
bcm43xx-fwcutter -w /lib/firmware bcmwl6.sys
Sorry, the input file is either wrong or not supported by bcm43xx-fwcutter.
This file has an unknown MD5sum f40e789916831945e2420c333350c57b.

I also tried a bcmwl5.sys off the Internet and it did copy files into /lib/firmware:
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1144 2008-06-22 14:24 bcm43xx_pcm4.fw

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 3424 2008-06-22 14:24 bcm43xx_initval03.fw
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 3424 2008-06-22 14:24 bcm43xx_initval01.fw

But still no wireless Internet connection.
Has anyone gotten this wireless circuit to work?
Should I try ndiswrapper?

Thanks in advance,
Dennis Krinke
