Problem with USB ADSL modem

I have a tp-link TD-8811 modem. I connect to the Internet via both LAN and usb port. but USB port does not work anymore. I mean when I coonect the usb cable to the system nothing changes in the networkmanager. so i can not connect with usb connection anymore. last week i change usb users and groups becuase i have a problem with running virtualbux. is there any relation between these?

please help me.
