Fedora 11 + Blender - weird problem

Hi folks! I'm trying to use Blender but look what is happening [1]?
Everything is working well, but when I try to work with Blender, it happens with the menu options. I think the problem may be in my Video Card. What tests should I do to see if the problem is the Video Card or Blender?
PS: Do not install any driver for AMD, the Desktop Effects are working perfectly. I just had to disable the modset because with it enabled my computer was very slow.

Cheers.

You can try run Blender in metacity window manager. In terminal type:
Code:
metacity --replace
and do not close the terminal after that try run blender.

I search [1] and found a solution, but for this I have to change my xorg.conf. The blender works but I lose the desktop effects and still hangs my computer.
I search [1] that you do your in my xorg.conf it works, but the desktop effects do not work more:

        Option "AccelMethod" "XAA"
        Option "AccelDFS" "off"
        Option "DRI" "on"
