Yum update fails

I am getting the message that yum can not get the meta data from the updates repository.
I have done a yum clean all and had rpm rebuild the database. The last successful update I've had was:

So what's up?

More information would be helpful. This seems to be a common problem of late. Can you post the complete error output?

I'm going to be away for a week so I may not get to the machines to get the output. They are both 64 bit F10 installs. My 32 bit laptop with F10 has not shown the symptoms.

Well, I just started yum update on both machines and the process is proceeding as normal or I should say as I expect. No errors this time.
I finally found the sticky on the meta data error thread and had read through it. After I read through the bugzilla bugs and related and closed and re-opened I was quite confused. But now things seem to be working as they should without any intervention.

Still confused
