I have two networked computers: both running Fedora 11, both up-to-date, both with xscreensaver installed, and both with gnome screensaver removed. However, on one of the computers, xscreensaver doesn't start after the specified inactivity time. When it should start, the screen instead goes directly to sleep, which actually is scheduled to happen 15 minutes after the screensaver starts. Clicking "Restart Daemon" has no effect. The xscreensaver settings are the same on both computers. On the other computer, xscreensaver works like a champ.
Any ideas what I'm overlooking on the one computer?
Thanks.
