MDRAID for boot in F12

reading though the feature list and the second item is (hopefully) an EYE POPPER!

With this developent, the need for a standard ide/sata drive for mbr/boot is no longer needed. We should comftobly have some fakeraid / biosraid support for booting.

That is the intention of this module / feature? Can some one please confirm this is the intent.

Cause i had to unfortunatly drop native fedora (linux) support on my desktop due to hardware configuration issues that I cannot change.

Im running the beta in a vm atm and am very impressed!

If you're talking about the feature named "Anaconda MDRaid", sorry to disappoint, but no I don't believe that is what it's about. It's just about accessing some BIOS RAID sets via mdraid - which is usually used for Linux software RAID sets - rather than dmraid, which apparently is now possible with Intel motherboards and provides some feature benefits. But nothing to do with booting, so far as I can tell. Sorry!
