Problems with Atheros AR9285 wireless

For some reason lately my wireless/eth0 has been messing up. When Im on windows I can use eth0 and wireless. When Im on F11 it detects the eth0, but I cant connect to it. I can still use wireless on Fedora, but for some reason when Im using the wireless the signal is very weak, but in windows the wireless has the best connection possible. ( Ive tested it all through my house and the problem is still the same )

Has anyone else had this problem and can help me solve it?

Hello orc_dragoon

We'll need to know the type of network card in the netbook before we can even begin to guess.

Code:
lspci
from the command prompt should tell us that.

The make of the netbook might not go amiss either.

I' sorry, I have no experience with that particular range of chipsets.

I don't know if you can do it as the originator of the thread, or if you have to send a personal message to a moderator to do it, but I suggest you get the thread title changed to something like:

Quote:

That way you will attract the right sort of attention.
