Booting not successful (have to try 3,4,5 times)

I have had lots of problems with dual boot. Hardly never making success with first boot. I have to try 3,4,5 even 6 times until reach the X. Some kernels make it better (hardly never succesful boot with first try). This 2.6.34.7-56.fc13.i686.PAE seems to be one of the worst.

Boot hangs on starting atd. Xorg.conf:

# Xorg configuration created by livna-config-display

Section "Files"
ModulePath "/usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions/nvidia"
ModulePath "/usr/lib/xorg/modules"
EndSection

Section "ServerFlags"
Option "AIGLX" "on"
EndSection

Section "Device"
Identifier "Videocard0"
Driver "nvidia"
EndSection

Section "Extensions"
Option "Composite" "Enable"
EndSection

I have to use nvidia proprietary driver. With nv the screen will freezy quite soon. How to solve this continuing boot problem?

Graphic card: Nvidia 9500 GT

I'd suggest looking here for info on how to install NVidia drivers. Leighs method has worked extremely well.

Re: Booting not successful (have to try 3,4,5 times)

I've installed nvidia it works. Problem is that with some kernels i have to do several boots until reach the desktop. However if i delete Xorg.conf-file and boot the machine i'll manage to boot succesfully in my first try. There must be something with that Xorg.conf or why do i have to try several times to make successful booting?
