Google SMS for Pidgin

I just installed Fedora 14, as well as Pidgin and would like to have a way of using Google SMS service in Pidgin like you could in Ubuntu. Any support would be great. Thank you in advance.

does the Ubuntu Pidgin have some kind of Plugin to do that?

There was a perl script you saved into the plugins folder, I tried doing that here, but it doenst show up in my list of plugins.

i wonder if its a seperate plugin which can be installed from the repo' what you could do is search for the name of that perl script in yum CLI or YUMEX or packagekit Add/Remove

Just a guess, but do you have pidgin-perl installed too?

In fact, I did NOT have that installed *facepalm*. Installed it and everything seems to be working. Thanks for the assist.
