I just fitted a "Samsung SH-S222A 22x DVD+-RW DL & RAM IDE Optical Drive". It can play DVDs fine but it won't recognise CDs; Dolphin says it lacks Read Permission but I think that is just a symptom of the problem. The drive works fine in Windows. The drive's webpage only has drivers for Windows, and I have searched the fedora repositories but can't see any relevant drivers.
Any help would be much appreciated.
I also got this message when I first put a CD in; it probably isn't relevant but it may contain some useful info:

edit: I should probably have mentioned that I'm using Fedora 13 on some ancient kernel: Linux e 2.6.33.8-149.fc13.x86_64 #1 SMP Tue Aug 17 22:53:15 UTC 2010 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
