OK, so my brain is in the process of melting down, and as such, i may have missed this information somewhere on the internet. Brain-liquification notwithstanding, here's my predicament:
I have samba installed on both my networked computers, one fedora 15 and the other ubuntu 10.04. They both SHOULD be configured to share files and to access each other. However, i cannot even see that they exist on the network beyond being able to ping them from each other. i have literally labored over this all day and am at a complete loss at how to fix it. Can you please help me? What information do you need from me to accomplish this?
(and regarding samba vs nfs, there are a couple windows computers i use occasionally.)
