mldonkey problems on fc16

hi. is anyone else having problems with mldonkey on fc16 ? it seems to be related to the fact that the mldonkey service is trying to use /var/run/mldonkey/mlnet.pid as the pidfile, but on fc16 /var/run is a symbolic link to /run which in turn is a tmpfs and so gets cleared down during reboot after which the /var/run/mldonkey directory no longer exists so the service can't create the pidfile. i also note that the mldonkey packages are still labeled for fc15 so it doesn't look like they've been repackaged for fc16 :
mldonkey-3.0.3-1.fc15.x86_64
mldonkey-server-3.0.3-1.fc15.x86_64
