Re: UNEXPECTED INCONSISTENCY; RUN fsck MANUALLY...help
ok, what happens if you boot into the regular runlevel 5, and when it hangs, use ctrl-alt-f2 to get to a console screen? Is your 3g dongle active, then, after network manager starts?
another thing you could try is re-installing those 2 packages from the install DVD if you have it. The rpm files would be located in the /Packages folder on the DVD.

Re: UNEXPECTED INCONSISTENCY; RUN fsck MANUALLY...help
So the way I solved it was booting up on a live usb and taking the files that I didn't want to loose on a portable drive.
And re-installed fedora, so now I'm finally up and running again.
But a sincere thanks for all the help and for trying to fix my problem.
Lesson learned.
Don't do a hardreboot!

Re: UNEXPECTED INCONSISTENCY; RUN fsck MANUALLY...help
Eep. That's pretty unusual, I've had to hard reboot my boxes on a variety of occasions with no ill effects. Of course all my machines use real, non-lvm partitions on a DOS table.
