[SOLVED] can't install fedora 16

i currently have fedora 15 because the fedora 16 live cd wouldn't install after many many attempts. is there a way to like upgrade or something?

There is more than one way to upgrade. The recommended method is to use Preupgrade. You can also upgrade using yum. Here are the links (may not be the most recent).

i'll try that, I booted into the lice cd, hit install and went through all the procedures but when it rebooted, it didn't boot from the hard disk because nothing was on there so it just went to the live cd again.

I am not sure I understand. I thought the installer ejects the CD after completing the installation. Are you sure it was not installed? I am just confused.

By the way, if you download Fedora 16 DVD, it will let you upgrade your installation instead of a fresh install.
