I used the dd command to make an live image of an .iso from a distro I want to have at pen drive to use when I am not with my laptop at University.
But unfortunatelly there are two missing files in the drive, and it don't boot. I used the dd command to clone the .iso 2 times and always these files are missing.
But here is the real problem:
The disk don't exit read only mode. I mounted it in rw mode, even as root and still I can't format this thing. Used fdisk also but it simple don't work, the disk don't leave ro mode and nothing can be done at this damm pen drive.
I know that if I put it at my brother laptop that runs windows I will be able to format this pen drive whitin seconds, but what the point to use Linux if I need to go Windows when I need?
So, if anyone can help me with this one I will be glad.
