CR-48/F16/wine-1.5.0/Kindle for PC

I was able to install Wine without any handholding. Then, got Kindle for PC installed. Had to go rm a file to get it to install. (A .dll that more than a few Win progs have issues with.)The app opens. All my books imported without an issue. Try to open a book and the app crashes.

There's nothing in the Wine appdb. Has anyone resolved this issue?
