Laptop Toucpad

I have fedora 14 on Dell Laptop. It was working fine..but recently i am facing some problem.

My Touchpad tab under (System--> Preference --> Mouse) disappears whenever i restart my laptop. It comes and goes whenever it is restarted...what problem it could be ?

Is it a driver problem or OS problem ?

And how to resolve it ?

Please help..

Thanks in Advance..
