Fedora 16 freezes during wifi connection

Hi,
I have FC16:
Kernel: 3.3.1-3.fc16.x86_64
Network controller: Atheros Communications Inc. AR9485 Wireless Network Adapter (rev 01)

Every attempt to connect with a wifi network (doesn't matter if it's password protected or not) causes system freeze:
- mouse and keyboard stop working
- if I try to connect by terminal I have "CPU# stuck for 23s"
The only thing I can do is to shut the power off.

I did try installing kmod-wl and so on but it didn't help.

I've spent last 3 days trying to find an answer to my problem and wifi still doesn't work, so please help.
