F16 GNOME3 - Changing the key binding of Alt+[key above Tab]

Alt+[key above Tab] (the grave key, (`)) switches between windows.
I want to disable this, so I've examined the system settings -> keyboard -> shortcuts; however, this particular combination is not listed there.

Is there a way to turn this shortcut off?

Use the gnome shell extension alternate TAB from GNOME Shell extensions page.

I am not using this right now and so I cannot vouch for how well it works, but give it a try.

I just gave it a try. For some reason, the extension started causing my GNOME3 to crash upon alt + grave key so I pulled it out. Oh well.

I have had some crashes with the extensions in the past. Just look around and see if you can solve it !

It's alright...not only does it crash, it actually didn't disable alt + grave combo either. Thanks for the advice, though.

I heard that -- and I know it sounds silly -- if you want to get alternate-tab working you need to add a picture to your gnome user account?

I know, sounds silly, but I did that and alt-tab plus the old style power off options are working just fine
