I have a (6-7 year old) Sony Vaio SZ which I run Fedora 14 on. Fedora 14 cannot autodetect the webcam on the laptop. I've looked through threads on the web and found that lsusb identifies the webcam as:
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 05ca:1835 Ricoh Co., Ltd Visual Communication Camera VGP-VCC5 [R5U870]
I followed the thread and downloaded kernel module source for the camera from http://www.palmix.org/r5u870-en.html
and attempted to build it.
But when I try to build it I get the following error message:
make -C /lib/modules/220.127.116.11-106.fc14.i686.PAE/build M=/home/chris/r5u/r5u870-0.10.0-tz17 V=0 modules

When I look I cannot find video-buf.h anywhere in the linux kernel source tree?
Can anyone help me with what I am missing here please
