Fedora 17 PPC: Manual Installation

The anaconda updates which allow Fedora 17 to be installed from the rescue environment are now available. They simply enable yum's command line interface.
Two installation scripts are also available.

Re: Fedora 17 PPC: Manual Installation

These scripts are for Apple PowerPC computers only. However, most of the code is not architecture-specific and users with programming skills can easily adapt them to other platforms.

Installing on x86

The anaconda updates which allow Fedora 17 to be installed from the rescue environment are now available.
Two installation scripts are also available.
Note: these scripts require biosdevname to be disabled. To disable it, use the biosdevname=0 boot option.
