USB flash drive and password protected partition

Hi, I have a 1GB USB2 flash drive , and I want to create a password protected partition that will work on both linux and windows. Only problem is that I dont know how! I have been able to resize the old partiton and add a new one using qtparted but I don't know how to password protect it, thanks for your help.

Thanks, but no, it doesn't. That just descirbes using a USB flash drive to log in, not making an area on the drive password protected.
