online streams with mplayer

I noticed that all of a sudden, streams will not play in mplayer or from within firefox. It just infinitely stays reconnecting to the stream. Is anyone else having this problem? I'm not sure what's going on.

NEvermind, upgraded to newest mplayer release, works again.

EDIT: Had problems playing local videos, so I switched back and now have the same problem again.
