Switching Radio on (wirelesss/Asus laptop)

Hi All,

I've been trying to get wireless working on my Asus A6Km laptop, I've setup ndiswrapper and now think is should all work.

dmesg tells me the radio is off though and I can't figure out how to switch it on!

Fn+2 doesn't seem to do anything, and I've tried acer_acpi which tells me that I don't have an Acer BIOS so it can't communicate with it - it don't work. I thought it theory is should work as its the same device as some acers?

Any ideas what I can do to switch the radio on, on my Asus A6Km laptop?

Cheers,
Toby

I would guess in the bios, ususally in the advanced settings there is a switch that sets the radio on or off. That is the way my emachine works.
