FC5, yum update, missing dependencies on stock stuff

Yesterday I installed FC5, straightforward installation. I did a "yum update" and I think it may have been interrupted partway through but I can't be sure because after I suspended my laptop, the screen failed to come back on when I resumed it. I thought yum was probably done but it may not have been.

So today I went to do "yum update" again and I got some missing dependency errors.

I was able to exclude those packages and update everything else. But I'd like to be able to update those packages. Also gnome seems to be generally borked, possibly as a result of interrupting yum? I ran "yum clean all" and "rpm --rebuilddb" and then tried "yum update" again but to no avail.

Please advise!
