using a linux application via windows

Hello.
I want tu use a text based linux utility on my windows operating system.
I am trying to do the same using telnet from windows to the linux machine. It gives command not found.

Can anyone tell this problem.

Your path is probably set incorrectly. Where is the linux utility, what directory are you in when you try to run it and what does "echo $PATH" say?

I figured it out. gave the path details in /etc/profile.d
Its working well.
