How to create my own distro based in Fedora Core

i want to create a distro based in fedora core 5 i make one with RHEL but for reason of $$$ subscription to obtain the updates packages for no rebuild i want to start from scratch with fedora core 5 what i need to do becase the method used with rhel doesn't work with fedora

Did you ever consider baseing your distro off of CentOS? It is the same code as RHEL and it is free. I am just getting into the Linux from Scratch thing myself so your question is way beyond my scope. Will be keeping tabs on this thread though.

Just a thought, Fedora Core 6 and CentOS 4.4 would be ideal for basing a distribution from.
GOOGLE : Linux from Scratch and check out the Book of that from cheapbytes.com as well.
I hope someone who created a Fedora or CentOS-based distribution, calls the first release
Enterprise or Vulcan, that would be SOOOOOOOO cool!
