Request Tracker - need help getting email gateway set up.

I would like to set up a server running Request Tracker (by BestPractical). I don't know how to set it up though, to accept and send emails. Has anybody here, done this and could help me out? I don't even know where to start.

We have an Exchange 2000 server, and all mail to and from RT will have to be relayed through it, so I'm wondering if I have to set it as a smarthost in the Sendmail config?

Any luck? I'm looking for the same for a 3.4.5 on FC5. I"m also setting up now a 3.6 for FC5.... we'll see how that goes.

Not exaclty. another forum gave me information how to make Exchange route mail for a single address to a different server, but I could not get sendmail to send all but that one email address to the Exchange Server. I was trying to do this by keeping the email address on our same mail domain. I think the only way to do this would be to set up an additional mail domain. I gave up on it though. It would be nice to have but I'm too busy to mess with it now.
