Fedora 5 64bit with Radeon X800 graphics

I have installed 64 bit Fedora 5 on my AMD 64 computer.

Because of the problem with the NVidia Radeon graphics board I installed in text mode.

I have the latest drivers for the NVidia which I hope will clean up my problem but I have no idea how to run them from the CD drive nor how to access it.

PLEASE help REAL Newbie.

Further to this problem, I can't get on the internet either to access fixes.
The same computer under Win Server got on fine.

Well, that's being a HUGE newbie!
Radeon cards are from ATI, not Nvidia! Obviously your card won't work with the Nvidia driver...

You're right - SORRY.

I just built 2 new computers and mixed up the graphics terminology.

Anyway can anyone tell me how to get onto the internet from Fedora 5's text mode. That way I can run some of the fixes suggested.

I have a static IP and need specific DNS's.
