I've been up all night searching the forums for these answers. Wondering if someone Can shed some light.
1: Root user unable to mount harddrives?
After Initial boot up and yum update I restarted and found my other to harddisks are being "detected" so I try to go into them and get "your user does not have priviledges to mount this drive"
I've been using FC5 and most other *nix os's through SSH on my server box for over a year.. I though I had learned enough to know root user is a super user and has access to all?
Is this not accurate anymore?
2: AFter *nix installon a harddisk That disk is nolonger detected when booted up on a windows harddisk.
Just noticed this one. I have a 80 gig ( windows XP ) a 120 gig and a 40 gig ( FC5 )
After installing FC5 on the 40 gig it nolonger shows on the windows drive O_O
Guess thats all fo rnow... brain is dead due to lack of sleep. Hope I have provided decent information to diagnose and correct my errors.
