Session restore, doesn't?

All,
I have not been unable to find where FC5 has a restore sessions options. When logging out with open windows and then logging back in FC5 displays a clean desktop. I kinda liked the "restore whatever the heck was open before you logged out" option that I have seen in other OS flavours. Is this a Desktop thing as in Gnome versus KDE or is there an option that can be toggled in System/Preferences/More Preferences/ Sessions or anywhere?
Thanks in advance for any help
Bob
