installing a Promise SATA300 TX4

So I have the most recent version of FC5 running right now. I am about to buy this (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Custra...82E16816102065) sata card for my box. Now, before I buy it, will it work with FC5? More importantly, will it be easy enough that a farely linux literate person could do?

Promises website indicates that this board is supported under RedHat Linux so I am inclined to say yes.

I know it should work, but I am seeing a lot of reviews about the card that it doesn't work with the 2.6 kernal, but many of these reviews are from some time ago, does anyone have one, or otherwise know if these do work with a 2.6 kernel and FC5

On fc5 maybe, but on fc6 I would have more reserve.
