Acroread and FC6

Hey all,

I installed FC6 and acroread and I fixed the bug with the gtk version (modify 2 lines of code in the startup script)
and at a cerain point everything worked just fine, but now I don't know what happened, when i type acroread it doesn't launch without any output and whether i'l root or normal user
but when i type sudo acroread it works........

any ideas???

actually if I don't type xhost local:host before even sudo acroread doesn't work
but when I type this command sudo acroread works but not the others......

I have AdobeReader_enu-7.0.8-1

su -

when you installed the package?

yes I was in root when I installed it

I uninstalled scim and now it just works fine, it seems there is a compatibility pb with scim and gtk in fc6........
