Promise PDC20579

Hi, I have an MSI montherboard that uses a Promise 20579 chipset. I have an IDE drive connected to this controller and FC6 will not recognize it. I see on Promise's website, they have driver source code that might work if it is properly compiled: http://www.promise.com/support/downl...ver&os=3&go=GO

If anyone can help me in terms of instructions on how to compile this and properly load it into anaconda to get it to recognize my HD, I would greatly appreciate it. I'm a bit of a newbie when it comes to Linux.

Thank you.
