I am new to Fedora Core and have version 6 running with all the latest updates. I want to access my windows drives and started to learn how to get them mounted. I ran into a problem. I checked with Package Manager and it reported NTFS modules to install. I started the install of these and it came back with this error:
[('package kernel-2.6.18-1.2868.fc6 is already installed', (2, None, 0L)), ('file /boot/System.map-2.6.18-1.2868.fc6 from install of kernel-2.6.18-1.2868.fc6 conflicts with file from package kernel-2.6.18-1.2868.fc6', (7, '/boot/System.map-2.6.18-1.2868.fc6', 0L)), ('file /boot/config-2.6.18-1.2868.fc6 from install of kernel-2.6.18-1.2868.fc6 conflicts with file from package kernel-2.6.18-1.2868.fc6', (7, '/boot/config-2.6.18-1.2868.fc6', 0L)), ('file /boot/symvers-2.6.18-1.2868.fc6.gz from install of kernel-2.6.18-1.2868.fc6 conflicts with file from package kernel-2.6.18-1.2868.fc6', (7, '/boot/symvers-2.6.18-1.2868.fc6.gz', 0L)), ('file /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.18-1.2868.fc6 from install of kernel-2.6.18-1.2868.fc6 conflicts with file from package kernel-2.6.18-1.2868.fc6', (7, '/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.18-1.2868.fc6', 0L))]
Package manager shows no NTFS modules installed before or after this.
