Hi All;
I've exhausted my knowledge and need a bit of help. I'm currently running a Dell PowerEdge 1950 on a gigabit line, with a SATA II hard drive that just can't keep up to speed. I've searched high and low and believe the drives aren't initializing as fast as they should be.
My current stats/logs are...
Code:
avg-cpu: %user %nice %system %iowait %idle
3.65 0.00 2.03 19.46 74.86
Device: tps Blk_read/s Blk_wrtn/s Blk_read Blk_wrtn
sda 25.96 223.60 598.50 2453612 6567652
sdb 0.05 0.63 0.00 6947 0
sdc 88.79 10834.33 0.00 118890056 16
And when I boot, these are from the logs...

Any advice on how to get this drive to at least pump out 150 megabits (Isn't it capable of like 800?) would be MUCH appriciated!!! Just looking for someone to point me in the right direction, not hold my hand.
Thanks!
Rich
