Ardour and Jack Audio Software
I need help, Asap, if anyone can.
I use to use sound forge and other programs on windows to do ma recordings and stuff like that, but now i want to learn linux, so im running linux fedora now. Anyways i came across Ardour but i have a problem it wont start up some error with jack as shown below:
also none of the jackstart commands work but jackd does when u do any jack or jackstart command u get :
[root@localhost ~]# jackstart -h
-bash: jackstart: command not found
so guys anyone can help me out, im stuck and i need help also im a newb to linux, so pls any help would be very greatfull

fixed it seems the old version i was usin was for fedora 4 and the one for 5 wont work but i saw a beta version (y beta) and its runnin it seems to not use Jack because Jack still wont run but this runs but i cant get any levels anyone can help me get it runnin?

Do you have qjackctl installed?

i dont know, maybe not sure, how do i kno if i do, and if not how to install it, i want to get a rec program up by today.
