Interesting. Gives you a real idea on how much population growth is controlled by abortion. Not trying to start a flame war. Just making an observation.

In all fairness, it really couldn't be an insult.
1) It's on the clock
2) The numbers move fast
3) that does something to control population.
Regardless of how you feel about it, those numbers are there and moving much quicker than most other statistics on the clock that control population.
You should apologize for calling his mouth fat. He may have an incredibly slim mouth.

kind of a grim lot.
I see nothing listed for 5 year old birthday parties, first bicycle rides, quinceneras, happy graduations, joyful marriages, couples first child born, first days spent fishing with dad, nor warm carefree summer days spent at parents/grandparent's houses.
I wonder how many of the folks who built this are on stiff daily doses of Prozac?

Yes, you were trying to start a flame war so go piss in someone else's ear and tell them it's raining... "Hey, I'm juuuussstttt saaayyyyiiiinnnnggggg...".

Take it easy OK, the comment he made wasnt starting a flame war. Please read the forum guidelines as hostile attitudes would not be tolerated. First warning.

I posted the link for a bit of fun, not for anyone to start a flame war. I just found it interesting what can be done and how much spare time people have on their hands to do such things I agree with Dan that a lot of 'fun' things are missing from the stats, it's not worth getting ones knickers in a twist though!

The page is extremely deceptive. It gives the illusion of precision knowledge where there is none. For example, the methodology of arriving at a single average global temperature hasn't yet been developed.
This page has the global temperature down to no less than 10 decimal places.
Interesting to see all this data on one page, but based on the above alone I'm calling their bluff.

Yeah. Probably somewhat bogus since there's no way I know to pull this data together in real time. Global temp doesn't help credibility. Must be statistics-based with historical stats timed to clocks and manually updated periodically.
Glad to see more bikes than computers though. Get off your digital butts, kids, and get out there in the world where life is REALLY happening.

The point of that particular phrase was to try and prevent a general discussion of abortion. Such a discussion almost invariably devolves into a flame war.
It was also designed to plant the seeds of doubt as to the accuracy of the clock. I prefer to gently remind people quoting, or observing, statistics of how easy it is to manipulate them.
Have a nice day.

Statistics
I thought they were for fools so they can be right?
