My webcam no longer work

My webcam will no longer work.

It used to work, but after a recent reinstall I get this.

[root@localhost gspcav1-20070508]# make
make -C /lib/modules/`uname -r`/build SUBDIRS=/root/Desktop/gspcav1-20070508 CC=cc modules
make: *** /lib/modules/2.6.22.1-41.fc7/build: Ingen slik fil eller filkatalog. Stop.
make: *** [default] Error 2
[root@localhost gspcav1-20070508]#

I find the file /lib/modules/2.6.22.1-41.fc7/build witch is a shortcut, but when I click it I get the file no longer seam to eksist. The location it point to seam to be ../../../ust/src/kernels/2.6.22.1-41.fc7-i686 what the ../../../ means I have no idea, but /ust/src/ contain nothing. I nead the development packages to install from source? I donæt remember if I had last time I did this.

Ok, two things:

../ means up one directory. For example, if you are in a terminal in your desktop. Pressing:

cd ../

Will get you one directory higher. So you enter your home directory. So:

../../../ Means 3 directory levels 'up'.

For your webcam, try:

yum install kernel-devel

Thanks, I will try it some day, My network card just failed this morning(no longer found by the system) so O can not do annything befour I got my lazy ass around buing a new one.

install: cannot stat «gspca.ko»: Ingen slik fil eller filkatalog
make: *** [install] Error 1

This is what I got once I installed kernel development.
Still dont work, but look like I came closer

Sorry my mistake. I should have typed make befour make install. It work now
