Hi,

When I pop the dvd disc in, A pop up saying, "Totem cannot play this type of media (DVD) because you do not have the appropriate plugins to handle it."

Same with Kaffeine! Please help!!

Search the forum. This is the number one question.

Edit: Actually, number two question, after "How to play MP3s"

Try installing the Livna release key ( I have assumed you are using F7 as you haven't stated )

http://rpm.livna.org/rlowiki/

Code:
su
rpm -ivh http://rpm.livna.org/livna-release-7.rpm
Then follow this link

I followed everything the above "link" suggested but still cannot watch DVD. On Kaffeine, I have sound but not picture and with Totem, it loads and then disappears!! Funny that when I have Linspire OS installed, Kaffeine worked just fine without needing to install extras.

Any helps on this is greatly appreciated.
