gnome date / time

Greetings
My gnome date/time administration tab seems to not exist. I looked through the available options for gnome but none seem to refer to time and date. I have manual set the time and date with the date command but would relay like the actual panel under system, administration to be available. Any clues ??

Type this in terminal to edit your menu:
Code:
alacarte
Go to the administration tab and tick the box next to 'Date & Time'.

If you have the date/time showing on the panel, you can just right click that for options aswell.

Well, that did not work. There was no date/time to check. Date and time do not appear as options. I could manually ad it but I don't know the command to run the app. Any other suggestions? I am installing KDE to see if it is missing there as well.

In Gnome, it's 'system-config-date' .

That did it. I installed this package(system-config-date) and I am good to go. I would have thought it part of a default install but I guess not. Anyway thanks for the help.
