graphical glitches on desktop

I keep getting these glitches in the bottom right hand of my desktop. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem before and knew where to start or how to fix it. Thanks

Care to expand on what these glitches are? Is the bottom right corner of your desktop not being rendered correctly?
