Asus X50N wireless connection problems

Hi everyone! I know this has been discussed thousands of times, but I can't get my wireless network card working.
My system:
1. FC8
2.Asus X50N notebook

4. System-config-network doesn't see my atheros card.

What is the problem?

It's probably the 5007EG card in disguise.

Towards the bottom of the page, I have a section on the AR5007EG. (Try to confirm, either by using Windows if it's still on the machine, or by looking for the sticker mentioned in the page above.)

If so, and it's a 32 bit machine, it should be pretty easy to get it up and running. (I see lspci showing 64 bit stuff though--if you're running the 32 bit Fedora anyway, it still might work, I have no idea.)

Hopefully, either the kernel or the madwifi people will get support going for 64 bit soon.
