Default login setup

I have installed Fedora core 5 (32 bit) on my system.
for my project purpose I need some help regarding login as.
When the sytem boots the linux normally it will ask for user name and password.
But I need to disable this option that is it has to directly skip the login screen and it should automatically login as root without prompt.

Thanks in advance,
madhu

It's your machine and basically you can do what you want with it, but no one in their right mind would run as root and have automatic log-in as root. Do you leave your keys in your front door too?

Ya i understood..
But As per the project plan... there will not be any keyboard.
So, once the system is switched on I have to launch my application on the screen.
As there will not be any key board... I need to have a auto login.
You have mentioned as cd /usr/share/beer

But i didn't find any file or folder like that.

Please ask somewhere else. Hopefully, no one in this forum would be irresponsible enough to help you leave your machine open to attack.

If you think the folder listed in my sig exists, then you really shouldn't be running Linux as root.

Hope you understood my problem. I told you like I am doing a project where there will not be any key board. and once the system is powerd on only one application will be running. That means it will be like a embeded to one application. User wont have an option to see the terminal and he can't run any other appliaction. Hope you are very much intrested on finding the security for Fedora.

We are very interested in security, that's why and myself over 30 other readers have not answered your question and the reason why I'm closing this thread.
