External Hard Disk not detected
Hi,
I'm using F8. I have a 160GB external hard disk. But, it is not detected. Can anyone help me..
The message I get for "dmesg" is this.

I had the same problem at work. One of my two USB disks is not detected on any port. I even brought it home tried on Fedora, Vista, all see it fine. Never thought the cause is actually a bad power supply. Replaced with another power supply, and all is fine. Of course, it does not mean you have the same cause.
