Startup help PLS !!!

I installed my fedora core preview yesterday and it always crashes at the start up right before it asks me to enter my login and password.

I got an Nvidia Geforce 8600 GT . And i am wondering if it is my card which is not compatible with linux, since i had to install the Fedora with the text mode version.

I`m new and i know nothing about Linux, never used it before.

Please help me somebody, i wasted a day trying to fix this thing , but up to no good. Thanks
